Organoleptic characteristics
Taste: rich and articulate taste profile, in which herbaceous, floral, spicy and citrus notes can be recognised, with a dominant bitter finish.
Colour: dark brown with golden and reddish hues.
Density: moderate, making the drink hard yetat the same time smooth on the palate.
Combinations
Often served as a digestif after a meal, it can also be used in cocktails, as an ingredient in blends for drinks such as Negroni or Americano, to add complexity and depth.
