Taste: It is characterised by its balance of sweetness and a slight tartness, typical of blood oranges. It is creamy and enveloping on the palate, with a lingering orange finish.
Colour: intense orange hue with pinkish tones, making it visually appealing.
Density: rich and creamy, but not overly dense, making it easy to pour. The texture makes it pleasant to the palate.

Production process
- Selection of raw materials: high-quality blood oranges from our beloved land. The peels are carefully selected.
- Extraction: the orange peels are macerated in alcohol to extract the essential oils and flavours of the citrus fruits.
- Preparation of the cream: once the infusion is obtained, cream and sugar are combined. This combination gives the cream its characteristic smoothness and sweetness.
- Mixing and Filtering: the ingredients are mixed until a homogeneous consistency is obtained; then, the cream is filtered to remove any solid particles.
- Bottling: the cream is then bottled and left to rest for a period of time to harmonise the flavours.
Combinations
Poerio Beverage’s blood orange cream liqueur is versatile in its combinations.
It is ideal served cold on its own, as an after-meal digestive to ensure freshness to the palate after strong notes dishes. It can also be enjoyed with desserts: excellent on panna cotta, ice cream and chocolate desserts.
